Showcasing Talented Greek Jewelers in the US

Maria was born in Alexandria, Egypt though both her parents are from the island of Lesvos. Leo was born in Athens and traces his roots (from his father's side) to the region of Thrace and (from his mother's side) to the island of Crete.

We both came to the US in the 60s as college students: Maria to study Art and Leo to study Aeronautical Engineering. Maria went on to become a professional weaver doing commission work and teaching university level courses.

In the early 80s, we started importing Greek jewelry--first low end and then high end. In the begining we only sold wholesale. In the early 90s we started retailing at Greek American community festivals--primarily in the eastern US.

We have sold our jewelry at over seventy festivals all over the US. Though we have done as many as thirty festivals a year, nowadays we do fewer than twenty. For schedules of upcoming Greek festivals in your area, you can visit this site or this site. The accompanying photos show our booth setup at three different festivals.

As we return to these festivals year after year, we develop a network of long term relationships with numerous repeat customers. When we visit Greece in our frequent trips we love to "discover" jewelry artisans that have something new and unique to offer. Then, when we visit a particular festival location, we love to share these "discoveries" with our friends.

More importantly, as we explain in the "Our Services" section, we go out of our way to address the specific needs of these customer friends--whether or not we carry an item that is close to what they are looking for.
